Buy used from: $14.99 A German movie with English subtitles. A few German soldiers find themselves stuck in the Battle of Stalingrad. They decide to go AWOL. The movie is just about as good as "Saving Private Ryan" as the battle scenes, the dialogue and the sheer horrors of war are shown along with the insanity of war.

Wuhl plays "Newbomb Turk" who leads his "gang" (a hilarious group) on a last night of pranks in Beverly Hills, CA. The local snobs want the drive in shut down (movie occurs in 1965 as the Vietnam War is coming on). Hilarious!

Hilarious and one of those movies that stays with you for a long time. The lead singer in this movie is unbelievable.

Finally, led by Matthew Broderick (playing the role of their general) they go into battle. This is a great movie based on the true story of the 54th Infantry in the Civil War. Great movie, great acting and worth the time to understand the sacrifices people made to save this nation.
