Interesting Timepiece
A short review of this watch:

Weight: It was not as heavy as I expected (even though it is quartz and I knew it would be lighter than an automatic), but it has a substantial quality to it. If you are new to the luxury watch market and are worried about getting used to the weight, this might be a good selection. For those that love a big heavy watch, this is probably too light for your taste, but like I said, still substantial. I like a heavy watch, and while this is far from the heaviest that I own, I'm still pleased with it from this aspect.

Size: With dimensions of 43mm and 13 mm, I again was surprised by the relative size. As with the weight, the size is substantial, but it's nowhere near the size of another 43mm and 13mm watch that I have. (yes, it measures the correct dimensions, but this watch is crafted in a way where it tapers from the middle to the top and bottom in a very stylish manner making it appear smaller than the dimensions would otherwise lead you to believe.) Again still substantial, and a good comprise between the understated nature of a Patek and the monsterous quality of a Breitling (and yes, much cheaper than either of those as well, but just an example for purposes of comparison).

Overall on size, I think it's a good balance. I would not imagine any adult male complaining about the watch's size (too big or too small) after a week or so of wearing it.

Bracelet/Band: Looks like the picture. This particular band has 2 additional flat surfaces on each shiny link (the shiny center link is squared at the top and the bottom) compared to other watches that i own/have seen. It catches the light more than your standard band of this style which I like. At a glance it looks a little different than the more common type of this watch band where the center shiny links have rounded edges. Admittedly, this is a very subtle difference.

Perpetual calendar: Had to read the manual to figure out how to change the time, date, year, but once you figure it out, it's very logical. There is even a "cheat sheet" engraved on the back of the watch to remind you when the season's change and you don't feel like digging up the manual. The perpetual calendar is a nice feature so you only have to set the date once (and then whenever the battery runs out.) The bottom half moon dials tell you the date in regular time mode.

Chronograph: This watch uses the main hands as its chronograph which makes it very easy to read. A little different than most other chronographs so a nice change if you collect watches, or if you hate all of the dials on the face of the watch but still want a chronograph.

Ragatta function: This is basically a countdown mode. It uses the hour and minute hand moving together counting down on the hours markers from 10 to 0. The thought here is that you get 10 minutes to set your boats up in a boat race and this watch counts those 10 minutes down for you. There is also apparently an additional 5 minutes that you get in the race that the watch can also countdown. In all likelihood a completely worthless feature from a functionality perspective for nearly everyone who buys this watch, but its something your boss's watch probably won't do, for what that's worth.

Overall: The only complaint that I have is the type of links this watch uses. They are nearly impossible to remove yourself without risking bending a pin. Take it to a watch store to get that taken care of. The watch itself is very nice, and for amazon's price, I think you're getting an extremely good deal. Own a lot of watches, and spent a great deal of time researching this purchase, and I'm very pleased.

I bought this watch from Amazon few days back through my firend account. its far more beautiful that what it looks on the picture. worth each penny spent.

service was excellent. i recieved all items on time and in excellent shape. but i have 2 comments for Amazon

i was charged with a duty of 128 dollars which is too much for this watch. it was my first item where i wwas charged with duty although i have bought some items before as well. may be recession having an effect on amazon as well

secondly, the watch does not come with manufacturers warranty. instead, you have a 2 years warranty from amazon. i dont mind having an amazon warranty but still i would prefer the manufacturer warranty as it means that i can get service anywhere in the world and dont need to send my watch back to amazon everytime

Wrong watch delivered. Very poor after sales service! buy from Jomashop
The watch in itself is very nice. Amazon screwed up my order and delivered a citizen instead. It has been over 6 weeks and ~30 phone calls and i still have not recd my money back from Amazon. Had to actually order the watch from Amazon. Amazon is great if they can get your order right. God forbid if they mess it up, they have no system or process in place to take care of you.

Go to a specialized watch eretailer. That would be my advice.
