From the Publisher
Many books tell how to launch a business, but very few answer the question, "Okay, I’m up and going. Now what?". Business advisor Mike Van Horn’s new book is a roadmap to growth, profitability, and ease of operation for today’s small business owner. It is based on his work with over a thousand small business owners.
From the Author
Each owner thinks his or her business is unique, but when it comes to the barriers to growth, all businesses are pretty much the same. The advice I give them has been boiled down to a handful of ideas, which are the core of this book. Everything in this book has been tested on the most demanding audience—owners of small, successful businesses.
Customer Reviews
Easy to read, full of tools and great information.
The book provides all the tools and information that a small business owner needs to overcome self-defeating business patterns, solve problems, grow, and become more profitable. Sections of the book are set up to guide the reader through the process, step by step, while overcoming barriers, setting up a plan of action and staying on track. The book is full of questions that the business owner needs to ask him/herself in order to move to the next level and beyond. Not full of theory learned in business school, but practical, useful, clear knowledge from the school of hard knocks. Style is chatty and interesting with tools, charts, tips, tables and humorous drawings.
Best Business Book I Ever Read!
This book has set me free! I have a small business and I was working all the time with never enough time to do everthing that is required. With Mike's very helpful guidance I now get more done and have a life outside of work. This book can be of great help to any small business owner.
