Perfect for the academic artist!
My daughter is 7 1/2 and rarely plays with toys. Pens, pencils, paper, paint, scissors and glue are her favorite pasttimes! This book was the perfect present! I got it for her for Christmas and she's spent hours with it! Letters to friends; lists of her favorite things; she's even used it for "quirky" spelling assignments! It's a great book and I would recommend it to anyone. Besides - who doesn't doodle?! This book shows you how to doodle with style!! Like all Klutz books, this one is made very sturdy and I'm sure it will be a favorite of all four of our little rugrats! Thanks, Klutz!
Cool Lettering
This is a great birthday gift. I have two girls, 5 and 8, and they will sit with this lettering kit and doodle for hours. The price on Amazon beats the stores if you can get the free shipping.
great book with lots of good ideas
This lettering book was really great! it had many fun ideas that i use with everything now. From posters to birthday cards, this lettering kit really helps me to make those "straight and perfect" lines that everybody likes. With good clean cuts and extra shapes for your projects, this kit really is helpful and a good tool. Also explaining how to use different techniques for coloring (such as shading and designing), this kit also explains how you can make up your own letters, and don't just have to use the helpful stencils they include. This was a great book, which i use for my friends and myself. It was a smart buy, and I LOVE IT!!
