Latin Jazz Explosion
Tjader's album is smoking hot. I read the other reviews here before purchasing and can't say I disagree. This is easily one of my favorite Latin albums.

The vibes are awesome and the percussion is so fast and stylish it will blow your mind.

Afro Cuban All The Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first encounter with Afro Cuban music. I had bought a couple of Cal Tjader albums before, but they were more jazzier. From the first song, I really dug it! The melodies, the rhythms and all the percussion just blew me away! The opnener, Cubano Chant is the best song on here. The others are just sensational. If you want an enduction into afro cuban music, or just Cal Tjader's recordings, this ain't a bad place to start! The only dissapointment about this album is Tjader lays out on vibes for a couple tunes. I love his vibe sound, and the instrument itself, and want to hear more of it!

Creme de la Creme of all music
This is, and always has been, my favorite all time CD. I bought the originals when I was in my teens and have worn out many replacements. Incredible rhythms, melodies and harmonies. Not a raw note played. It is all smooth latin jazz and undeniably the birthplace of ACID JAZZ.

Just an incredible odyssey through the best tunes available anywhere at any time. All others are playing catch-up.
