BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Phone, Black (T-Mobile)BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Phone, Black (T-Mobile)
The new BlackBerry Pearl design is a huge step away from those wider-than- tall QWERTY blueberries associated with over-worked white collars. The new Pearl is thus attractive to new, non-traditional RIM users, and this one is the bomb. Packed with features from the microSD card for handling music, pics, and more to the coolio 'pearl-like' rollerball. Voice dialing is fun and no need to pre-record!
Motorola Q Phone (Sprint)Motorola Q Phone (Sprint)
The sleek design of the Motorola Q for Sprint PCS has won a lot of hearts and typing-on-QWERTY-pda-fingers! Running Windows 5.0 allows fast operation, media support, and enough software to configure either personal or business accounts to your mobile computing needs. BREW platform and expandable memory are bonuses.
BlackBerry Pearl 8100c Phone, Slate Grey (AT&T)BlackBerry Pearl 8100c Phone, Slate Grey (AT&T)
The BlackBerry 8100 Pearl for Cingular boasts pretty much all of the same features as the T-Mobile phone. The phone offers GPS Service support if you use Cingular's Telenav AND offers push-to-talk. My fav: with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, my phone constantly receives new emails and text messages and the little red light blips to tell me when! No more, 'I didn't get that email' excuses...

Ok, I don't know what it is about this newest smartphone, but let me say that someone very close to me has it, loves it, and is click-clicking at all hours - I think it's the controls and screen that make it addictive. The Bluetooth device runs Windows Mobile with its full keyboard, has a 1.3 megapixel camera, and plays video like you wouldn't believe. Beware battery time!
Sony Ericsson W810i Phone (AT&T, Phone Only, No Service)Sony Ericsson W810i Phone (AT&T, Phone Only, No Service)
What's not to love about this phone? My co-worker got one and was instantly the envy of the crew. The pictures are great, the music capabilities rock, and the ease-of-use has converted him to a Sony fan. Small, lightweight and powerful, the w810i is really the top pick for anyone needing a phone (and who doesn't?).
Samsung BlackJack Phone (AT&T, Phone Only, No Service)Samsung BlackJack Phone (AT&T, Phone Only, No Service)
The BlackJack for Cingular is slim and flat and runs Windows Mobile. The smarty pants phone has 3G high-speed data capabilities, stereo Bluetooth, and music player though only a 1.0+ camera (albeit w/video capture). Big sellers: a true speakerphone and ability to stream media at high-speed so you can watch TV wherever. NOTE: the MEdia Max service plan is recommended if you're into video watching.
BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Phone, White (T-Mobile)BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Phone, White (T-Mobile)
All of the above PLUS sleek white design. I've got it, it's easy to find in a black bag or brieface, and makes me feel not-so-bad about still not having an ipod thing.
palm Treo 700wx Phone (Sprint)palm Treo 700wx Phone (Sprint)
Some folks are BlackBerry users, some folks prefer Treo. This newest version runs Windows Mobile and offers a wi-fi card for instant data transfers, plus the stylus you know and love (in case you missed it). There's 60MB of memory to fill with music, videos and whatnots... the camera is only 1.3 megapixels but has light balancing for better pics.
Motorola KRZR K1 Phone (AT&T)Motorola KRZR K1 Phone (AT&T)
A super phone with the lastest features: contact and calendar synching, video capture and playback, plus built-in Bluetooth and a rocking 2MP digital camera with zoom and image editing. Oh yeah, did I mention it's super sleek, virtually indestructible, and has great voice quality?
LG enV VX9900 Phone, Silver (Verizon Wireless)LG enV VX9900 Phone, Silver (Verizon Wireless)

The 2.0 megapixel camera has multiple modes and controls.
