GOOD VALUE
These batteries perform just as well as comparable "D" batteries that cost more. I would recommend them as a lower cost alternative to Energizer or Duracell brands.

Good value
I purchased these for a baby bouncer that has a vibration function and an aquarium styled dispalay with bubbles and music. 3 batteries that drive vibration function died pretty quickly after ~3 weeks of very light use; however, the one that drives display and music still provides power. I do not know how long of a battery life I should expect when used in this type of device, but as my previous experience with D batteries in a portable stereo tells me, they do not last vey long. Therefore, I give these batteries 4 stars as they lived up to, but not surpassed my expectations.

Good expiration date
Since I'm saving these for a hurricane I can't vouch for how long these batteries last. But they did come with a December 2014 expiration date, which is very good for a May 2007 purchase and better than what I see in the stores for major brands.
