Techni IceTM Reusable Dry Ice Packs HDR (Heavy Duty Reusable) Model (4 layer/ply model) This new model has been recently developed for high performance reusable applications. Four layer/ply construction comprising of two layers on the outside that are fully washable and two heavy duty inner fabric textiles that resist puncture and contain the refrigerant polymer. This new model refrigerant comes supplied in a dehydrated state with hydration taking place utilising newly developed technology, allowing the sheet to have fully washable surfaces both sides and yet still absorb water to activate the refrigerant polymer. This new technology has patents pending world wide and enables for the first time, a dehydrated refrigerant sheet, to be fully washable and able to be stacked into a freezer any which way up, and folded together without any of the sticking problems normally associated with dehydrated refrigerant sheets using non-woven fabric surfaces. The HDR model is designed to resist puncture and is suitable for heavy duty reusable applications.

Amazing!
I use this product to ship Gourmet Black Angus Beef Steaks across the country. My steaks arrive FROZEN and in PERFECT condition! Better than DRY ice and less expensive!

Smart buy
I recently purchased ten sheets of Techni Ice and was surprised how easy it was to use. Three hours in my freezer and it was frozen solid. Techni Ice is a definite buy for anyone tired of spending bundles on ice for camping, fishing, or whatever. Cheaper than dry ice and last longer than regular ice. Plus, I can use it again next camping trip. I definitely got my money's worth.

Perfect for keeping things cold!
I came back to change my review. At first I loved this product. I used it in a drink bag to carry drinks They stayed cold more than any other ice pack I have used. And the fact that they come without water was great for storage. But it is also their biggest downfall. It tells you that water goes in through a one way system but it comes back out also if you are so unlucky to let them thaw. I learned this recently the hard way. Amazon woul not let me edit the stars but I would have changed tham to 2 stars.
