About Us

Thanks for visiting my Amazon store. Now that your here, how does this work?

Think of Amazon as that huge bookstore that takes up a whole city block.  It has a main front entrance.  In this case, the main entrance's address is  www.amazon.com.  Most of us have been through that door. Most of those passing through have purchased something and waited anxiously for it to be pulled from the shelf and packaged up and shipped off to land in our mail box. I know I have.

Think of CancerMonster's Amazon Book Store as a side entrance with a different address -  http://cancermonster.net/?page_id=82 . Walk through my entrance and the first shelf you see will be things I like.  Things I recommend.  You might want some of these books on my shelf, but maybe not. There are some other shelves there to your right in a list called Browse by Category. You might like some of those books over there.  But maybe not.

If you don't see anything you want on my shelves, all is not lost however. Just  behind my shelves is an archway into the rest of Amazon and all that it offers.  Go on past the things I have set out and search for your own books.  It's all good.  Just by coming in the store through my door instead of the main entrance, I get a few pennies of the cost of your purchase.  It's not added on top.  It's just a few pennies that would have gone to someone. This time it will be added to  my account.

Why should you do this for me?  Not a Clue.  But if you do, it will help to defray the cost of living with cancer and having no health insurance.  Simple as that.

How do you get past my shelf? Click on a book that I recommend.  Any book will do.  Then from that page, search for a different title.  Once you do that, the huge amazon computer out there in cyber space will mark you as my customer.  You can buy anything you want and it will all count. Go figure.

So brows away!  Have a good old time.  Don't forget your coffee.  Stay all day.  Find a comfy chair and kick your shoes off.  Next time you are thinking of ordering a book off the internet, I hope you think about this side door. . . Ya'll come back now, ya hear?
