Of course the photos have to go somwhere.

Excellent travel flash with flip up for bouncing off the ceiling. Not as many options for lighting control as the SB-600, but cheaper and smaller.

I actually recommend the white one if you can find it. This does a lot to help reduce the 'shock' of the flash in public settings.

A fantastic portrait lens. However it has no AF (auto-focus).

Telephoto lens - essential to any camera bag.

This filter is handy for removing reflections in water and windows and can be used to enrich colors in photos. I don't use mine enough.

Nothing's better at getting little flecks out of your camera body. The Giottos Rocket is best since it sets on a flat surface without trying to escape.

Convertable strap for wearing around your neck, shoulder or for hand-held grip. I also prefer a strap that doesn't have the lovely yellow "Nikon" branding. I believe not advertising the fact that I'm walking around with $3k worth of camera equipment keeps it safe.

Excellent for travel. Requires a fairly steady hand.

Anything that helps keep flashes and accessories organized is good in my book.
