In addition to reviewing the basic principles of color generation and color spaces, the book explains the equipment needed for a "digital darkroom," and studies actual color management techniques that will help you produce incredibly accurate color prints. To take the greatest advantage of this 33-page guidebook, it is recommended that the user possess a Canon EOS digital SLR camera equipped with Picture Style (an EOS 5D is used throughout the guide), a PIXMA series printer (a Pro9000 is used here), and a computer with Canon's Digital Photo Professional 3.0 and Easy-PhotoPrint installed. Descriptions in the guidebook are based on usage of Adobe RGB as the color space. All this is complemented by a portable Color Chart card and Gray Card printed at 18% density that can be used to properly calibrate your camera's white balance and your software color profiles.

Don't buy for the color chart1
This book is basically designed (as far as I can tell) to get you to buy a canon printer. The gray card is somewhat functional but the color card is an "example" to give you an idea of what a real color card would do.

Plus it was $5 to ship.
