Wish they could move...
I'm a child therapist and I ordered this set to have a more diverse doll collection for the children with whom I work. It's great that there are 8 family members since so many extended family members are actively involved in a child's life. I work with children aged 3 and up. Many children have been disappointed that the figures don't move. It's a great set, just wish they were flexible/posable/movable in some way.

Good for Play Therapy Kits
I'm a therapist trying to expand my play-therapy kit. I've been looking for some African American dolls for a while, so I was excited to see the Pretend and Play series. They are great, with the exception of their somewhat outdated clothes...my boyfriend saw them and thought they were the Jackson 5! But little kids won't know the difference, so I'd recommend them.

A wonderful therapeutic tool!
