Our mission and goals are simple. We at Caregiver's MED Tech are helping those that are passionate about helping others. Through education and care services, we believe we can help increase personal independence for patients while improving their quality of life. And, increase satisfaction for caregivers in addition to the patient's families. We focus on opportunities to provide early intervention capabilities while attempting to reduce the frequency of emergency room visits for patients that need home-based care or assisted living. An estimated 44 million Americans age 18 and older provide “unpaid assistance and support” to older people and adults with disabilities. Evidence shows that most caregivers are ill prepared for their role and provide care with little or no support, yet more than one-third of caregivers continue to provide intense care to others while suffering from poor health themselves. Studies have also shown that an influential factor in a caregiver’s decision to place an impaired relative in a long-term care facility is the family caregiver’s own physical health. Many caregivers are exhausted when they go to bed at night and many feel they cannot handle all their caregiving responsibilities - we hope to help change this trend. To assist caregivers, whether they are healthcare professionals, family members or friends, several companies now provide health tracking and emergency management technologies that remotely monitor patients in their own homes as well as in the homes of family members, adult living centers and similar care providing facilities. It is well documented that health tracking systems can improve both the patient’s and the caregiver’s quality of life. Our core business is providing caregivers and users of home healthcare technology products a “single-source” for the information, products and services specific to their needs.
