My cats love it; portable, easy to clean
I've bought my cats a lot of toys over the years, and the usual rule is this: the more elaborate the toy, the more likely it is that the cats will ignore it and go off to play with a piece of lint. This toy is the exception! My cats love it and still play with it after a year. The crinkly pad on the bottom never gets old for them.

One of the other reviewers has said that the cats can knock it down, and that's true -- it's also part of the attraction. My year-old cat likes nothing better than to jump into the tent and pull it into its folded position from the inside. (This is perfectly safe, she can easily get out because there are exits on three sides.) Then she looks up from the flattened tent as if to say "Look -- I killed something TWICE MY SIZE! I rule! I'm the cat! Yes!"

Then I unfold the tent and she starts over. This can go on for forty-five minutes. It's a blast.

The fact that the tent folds up is nice for me, too; cat tents/furniture can take up a lot of space that I need when guests come over. Then I can just fold up the tent and put it in the closet. Very convenient for me, and addictive for both my cats.

My Cats Love It
I bought this and my cats haven't gotten out of it since. It does tend to collapse, but I just duct taped a couple wires to the bottom, covering the ends so the cats don't get hurt, and I haven't had problem since.

Maybe my cat just doesn't like red
Maybe my cat just doesn't like red. :-) My Sammy has shown no interest in this product whatsoever. I even added some catnip to get his attention. After the first day of checking it out, he has studiously ignored it ever since. On the upside,this is a well-made product. I like the way it folds up for shipping or storage and it looks like it would hold up to cats pouncing on it. I plan to pass it on to another cat owning friend to see if his cat finds it more interesting.
