Customer Reviews

Attractive, cats like it so-so3
This is a very attractive cat tree. Unforunately, it's not very sturdy so my cats feel unsafe using the perches. One cat tried it a couple of times only and the other refused to even consider it. The cubby is too small for either of my cats. On the good side, they LOVE the scratching posts.

Great price, good quality!4
I am fairly satisfied with this Armarkat Cat Tree Gym Scratching Post, more satisfied than not, though! I do like it, but it is just a little too wobbley! Only a little though, the posts themselves, that is, not the base! Which is what some other customer actually posted in their review of this product, but I didn't find that to be the case! You just have to tighten the posts really well and not allow cats that are really heavy to climb on it! It does have a maximum weight capacity of 25lbs, so you can understand what I mean! My cat absolutely loves it! She was in the cubby hole as soon as I took it out of the box and then she proceeded to hang out and sleep on it and in it for the rest of the night and the next day!
Wobbling aside, it is a really great value, for a really great price and we are happy with our purchase! I love the color as well, better than just the plain tan! Like I said, if you have a light weight cat this will be just fine for them! To make it perfectly secure as well, which is what I did and it also tells you to do it on the instructions is put it in a corner preferabley or, against the wall at least, if possible! Your cat will not be disappointed and neither will you for that matter!
Happy playing kitties!!

not sturdy at all3
As has been stated, this cat tree looks nice, but it is not very sturdy. My big cat (12 lbs) won't even go near the thing. My small cat (9 lbs) does spend time on the top perch, but she has fallen off or been slammed into the sliding glass door next to it because it wobbles badly. Luckily she has gotten used to this and is more careful these days. The problem is that the base is fairly flexible. The other problem is the faux fur. It doesn't last as long as carpet. I've had this cat tree for 6 months, and already most of the material on the top perch has been torn off. It would be really nice to find a carpeted cat tree, but I'm not having any luck with that online.
