Beautiful and heartbreaking
Fr. Scanlon and Dana's recording of these meditations on the Stations of the Cross is deeply moving. Fr. Scanlon speaks with such soft humility in a beautiful voice with that lovely Irish accent. The meditations on the Stations are beautiful, heartbreaking, but uplifting at the same time. The background music is appropriately chosen, sets the mood without interfering with the words.

This is a precious CD. I strongly recommend it. As you may expect, this is not a lighthearted meditation, and going through the Stations, feeling empathy with Christ, can be very moving.

Stations of the Cross with Dana & Father Scallon
This is the most beautiful recitation of the Stations that I have ever heard. It has been a part of my Good Friday meditation for the past several years, ever since a friend shared it with me ... and I finally bought a copy for my own. The quiet calm of Father Scallon's voice ... and that wonderful Irish brogue ... and Dana's haunting refrain between each Station enable the listener to enter into Jesus' Passion and Death in a most meaningful and spiritual way. It is a wonderful way to spend an hour on Good Friday, or on any day when we need to remind ourselves of all that Jesus did for us -- and what we so often fail to do for others!.

Contemplative
Fr. Kevin Scallon does a magnificent job of taking you through this holy journey with Jesus. He makes the stations relevant to our world today and to us as individuals. The music is beautiful. I would highly recommend this CD, especially during this Lenten season
