Great for bulk food items
We use one of these to hold spaghetti, which fits perfectly in these. But our greatest success, after years of having the brown sugar get hopelessly hard before we've used it all, has been to keep brown sugar in one of these. As long as we remember to keep the lid closed properly, the sugar stays moist and soft (we *do* live in Colorado where it us usually quite dry).

Excellent AND attractive for any type of pasta!!
I ordered four of these for storing my various types of pasta, one for spaghetti, one for lasagna, one for fettuccine and one for elbows, etc... and they are WONDERFUL. They are VERY attractive containers, much nicer than in the Amazon listing picture. They seal easily and are nice and airtight, and you can see at a glance how much pasta you have left. Even for a large family, it holds 3 or 4 small boxes of pasta inside each one, so you can store ALL your bought pasta inside just these and buy more when you get low. The height is perfect for lasagna or spaghetti, etc... and the price is perfect!! HIGHLY recommend for those that are organizing their pantry, they take up little shelf space too!

I think these containers which I use to store pasta are great! The price was very good, they are air tight and I am very satisfied with them.
