In about 50+ years of baking
I've never found a better way to keep brown sugar moist and lump-free than in this type of snap-lid plastic container, which I keep in the fridge. Though I've tried adding one of those terra cotta brown-sugar keepers, the sugar seems to keep better without it.

These are the best containers
Hiya,
we have over 30 of the Snapware line. For some people, the lids are inconvenient.
For me, there is nothing on the market that lasts and seals as well: short of jars. The quality of the plastic is nice. I have put course grains in some and then used it later for flours. The sides do not seem to be all scratched up.
I bought a half of dozen of this model for my coffee selections.

buy bulk, reduce packaging
I use them for cereal, gold fish and pretzels. I buy bulk and appreciate keeping food fresher than in a clipped bag. The seal is not to be mistaken with this product.
