My main issue with Hot Animal Machine is its sound, it's too clean for my ears. But don't listen to me, just enjoy it. It is a really great batch of tunes. You get to hear Henry do "Ghost Rider" for the first of several times. And the "Drive By Shooting" material is really funny too. Especially the "Drive By Shooting" track and "Men Are Pigs". This ain't bad for a first solo record.

This is the first recording of the band's playing with Theo Van Rock's live mixing abilities. They have a crushing sound on this. Here is where the songs from "Hot Animal Machine" and "Lifetime" really get to shine. Absolutely explosive versions of "Black & White", "Gun In Mouth Blues", "Followed Around", etc.

This is a UK based box set of the first four Rollins Band albums.

This is Henry's one-off side project with RB bassist Andrew Weiss. They try to do a hardcore variation of go-go funk music. I can't get into it, and I've TRIED. There was an odd music video made for the track "The Whole Truth".

It's not the Rollins Band per se, but Henry does an awesome version of "Kick Out the Jams" with the Bad Brains.

It is what it says. Don't have it yet, but I'll change that.

This is a great disc that I only recently got. This is a devastating example of what the "End of Silence"-era of the RB was capable of live. Of particular interest is the "Move Right In/ Obscene" medley that manages to also slip in a good chunk of the Beastie Boys' "Gratitude", with different lyrics. Great stuff here.

This is where everyone else decided to jump on. While "Liar" is a great song, I don't think it's very representative of the band as a whole. The crushing weight of tracks like "Step Back" and "Volume 4" give real meaning to the album's title.

This is a live set from Woodstock '94 and dates from the subsequent European tour. It is all material from the "Weight" album. It is an import, practically a bootleg. The quality varies, especially on the Woodstock stuff - sounds like a straight dupe off of a TV feed.

Just so you don't think I forgot it, the RB does a song called "Fall Guy" on this. That song can be found on the "Weighting" CD.

Contains "What's the Matter, Man?", which as far as I can tell isn't anywhere else.

This is the original "Come In and Burn" album. Not bad, but I think the band was tired by this point.

This is a limited edition version. The edits and the rare mix on here don't appear to be on any other collections. So if you're a die hard, go for it.

This is all the songs that the new Rollins Band laid down while making "Get Some Go Again". They didn't get much credit, but Mother Superior are an awesome band, and Henry really played with a verve not seen in awhile. "Illumination" is instantly a classic Rollins song. Several others, too.

This was a website-only release that's a live set from the Get Some Go Again tour. A good set for a festival appearance. Henry's voice is a little blown, but the band really go for it. This is one of my favorite live CDs.

This is Mother Superior-era Rollins Band backing Henry and a whole bunch of guest stars belting out great Black Flag tunes. Corey Taylor doing "Room 13", Iggy doing "Fix Me", TOM ARAYA doing "Revenge"! A whole bunch of great others too. It's also great to hear Henry redo a few from the old days. Buy this new. This an honest-to-God tribute/benefit record, and it also happens to rock like @*#%!
