Waste of money
I purchased this cradle hoping that it wouldn't have the same problems as the others out there. I was wrong. You can either connect it via USB (thus requiring you keep your computer on 24/7) OR by AC (thus preventing you from synchronizing with the PC).

It also has the irritating feature of pressing the voice activation button every time I put my 8830 in the cradle.

Not recommended.

No Problems with this cradle
I purchased 2 of these units.
I am not having any problem at all for what I am using them for.
1 unit at home on AC and 1 unit for the office via USB.
They came with both the USB and AC cables and both can be plugged in at the same time.
I am 100% happy with it.

Not a good product
I purchased this cradle hoping to have something that I could use to hook up to my computer at work and charge it. I have now been through two of them and I get the same message every time (usb current not strong enought to power, etc). I've tried it on (2) different computers with the same result. Also, the AC adapter is difficult to use. The cradle does charge the blackberry, but the amount of force needed to get the charge to work is worrying and even then it doesn't completely charge my blackberry. Eforcity was very good in handling my complaint and sent me another one imediately without a hassle, however, this product simply is not good. The only reason I even gave it one star is for EFORCITY's customer service, which i was pleased with. I'm not going to bother returning it, I use the A/C option enought to keep it for $9. Don't waste your money on this product. The reviews aren't wrong.
