Got what I wanted
I received the case in time and I was satisfied with what I got. It had a soft leather casing which I wasn't expecting and was hence a pleasant surprise. Apart from that it is just a case and it does what it's supposed to do pretty nicely.

Great Stock Case with One Re-occuring Problem
I love the Stock case provided with my Blackberry 8830. It protects my phone nicely and turns it off immediately when holstered conserving battery time.
I replaced my 1st case because the material on the magnetic flip latch had split and cracked and looked nasty. It was over 1 year old. I was very happy to find the exact case on Amazon at a fantastic price under $10. The case was identical to the original and I was totally happy until less than 6 months after my purchase the same latch cracked and split, just like the original. Now it looks nasty again!
I had hoped Blackberry would have solved this problem by using a better grade material on the flap. It is advertised to be leather but I doubt it.
At any rate, I like the case and will purchase another because it is not expensive, but it only gets 3 stars because of the poor flap construction.

Blackberry Holster for 8800
I have purchased these in the past as I tend to break the belt clip. This one does not hold the phone as well as the two previous holsters that I have purchased.
