Extremely useful
I bought the Blackberry mini external charger for my Blackberry curve 8310. What really surprised me about it, is the additional USB charging plug. It works out great for hooking up my charge pod.
Works great, and has dual purpose
Keeps my second battery ready, instead of having to charge one and then the other in my Blackberry.
Also lets me charge my MP3 (or my phone) via the USB port (with applicable USB cable).
Only minor drawback is the position of the mini USB port(power-IN) and the standard USB (power-OUT to second item) are right next to each other, and my phones car charger (with the mini USB) is "L" shaped and interferes with the power-OUT port.
As Advertised
Works perfectly, plugs right into my existing charger. A must have for times when you are away from power for a long period of time, I always have a spare battery with me now and it's great.
