Product Description

This is a unique book that explores the primary role Christians play in preserving America. Weaving heart-warming stories with hard-hitting facts, Carolyn Corbin tackles such paradoxical contemporary issues as cultural relativism in a nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons world, conflicting religious ideologies, possible messages in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, prayer, forgiveness, sin, humility, relationships, and America’s social and spiritual dilemmas. Carolyn then justifies why she embraces the idea that America’s best days are ahead. Known for her high degree of accuracy in her 25-year career as a socioeconomic futurist, Carolyn Corbin provides practical steps for actualizing Godly faith based on a fresh contemporary approach to 2 Chronicles 7:14. This book is Biblically sound, motivating, and actionable. When you have finished, you will feel stimulated to DO something. A Promise to America: God’s Guarantee should be the handbook for every Christian who wants to make a significant difference in America’s future. Foreword by John A. Webber, Chaplain to the Dallas Cowboys.

From the Author
Dear Fellow Christian: We live in challenging times. Never in global history has there been so much unrest and chaos. As globalization brings nations face to face with one another and introduces the world to new cultures, change is taking place at a rapid rate. The ideal vision is that people in the world will be able to live together and share a common bond of peace and prosperity. The hope is that a majority of nations will participate in world trade, and the economies of once poor nations will be productive and prosperous. As nations are entering new markets, becoming democracies, aligning in global politics, and finding their places in this new world, chaos has broken out and threatens world stability. This is a predictable model in that chaos always accompanies change. However, chaos can be very dangerous. Much disruption can take place before moving through it to the other side wherein peace can reign. Weapons of mass destruction in the hands of despots destined to do harm endanger global stability. The United States of America, our beloved land, is a target for terrorists and rogue nations who wish to destroy our freedom and disrupt our economy. As we move through this global turbulence, we need God’s protection. Great wealth and the mightiest, most high-tech military in the world are not enough. God must be in the details. In order to protect and heal our nation, God puts the responsibility on Christians. He promises to heal our land if we will exercise His prerequisites. He lays out these requirements in 2 Chronicles 7:14. God bless your journey.

Spiritual Truths5
This book was filled with Spiritual truths. To me, it defined God's guarantee to both the believer and the unbeliever!

Hope for Our Country5
"In A Promise to America: God's Guarantee, Carolyn Corbin gives me hope for our country. It makes me realize the important role that Christians play in protecting America from harm and in building a land of freedom wherein our children, their children, and generations to follow can realize the hopes and dreams that only God can provide. Although God never made a specific promise to America, He did make one to His people. And, as His people, Christians are critical in the healing of our land. This books tells me how I can help my country to be morally whole again."

We Can Have An Effect5
Our small Bible study and discussion group in Las Vegas, Nevada, finished the book "A Promise to America: God's Guarantee" and had our last discussion recently. Actually, it probably wasn't our "last" discussion, as we all felt compelled to take some sort of action. We will be each other's accountability group now.

Following are some of the comments from our group:

"I had never really considered the present happenings in the world as something I could be involved in or have an effect on. After reading the book, I find that God is speaking to all Christians to follow His steps and help bring about His promise to heal our land. I want to see the America Carolyn describes at the end of the book become a reality. I am going to post that description as my prompting to pray. Our church is about to begin '40 Days of Purpose' and certainly our group has had our hearts and minds prepared for this churchwide study by "A Promise to America: God's Guarantee." --Carol Wayne.

"I have been involved in the goings-on of the world. I listen to 'Talk Radio' every day. I can now see a call to action for Christians." --Ron Wellman.

"We all have been watching the moral decay of our society, and felt there was nothing that could be done to stop it. After reading the book, I feel that there is hope that we can have an effect." -- Dave Halligan.

"I don't know if there was anything 'profound' in the book -- certainly all this should be familiar to Christians who are in the Word--however I appreciate how well she tied the Old Testament to Today." --Harlan Wayne.

"I have always recognized the call to action from God's Word in relation to my own life. I now see there is also a call to action on behalf of my country." --Susan Brager-Wellman.

"The Church has been uninvolved for quite awhile with politics and world events. I believe this a 'wake up call' for us all. Already I am hearing Christians beginning to say 'we won't just stand by and let this to happen,' and I believe this book will spur more on." --Phil Gingrich.
