Softens As It Cleanses.

CETAPHIL® cleanser was formulated for dermatologists as a gentle, non-irritating cleanser for even the most sensitive skin. Unlike soap, CETAPHIL is completely non-alkaline, non-comedogenic, and fragrance free.  Soothes and softens as it cleanses, helping the skin retain needed moisture. Use for face, hands, and the entire body. Also an excellent cleanser for the delicate skin of babies.

I really liked how it made my skin ...5
I really liked how it made my skin feel soft without making it greasy. I liked the fact you could use it two ways depending on what results were desired. It's fragrance free, which is important, and is very gentle to the skin. I would recommend this to others.

I like the way Cetaphil cleanses my skin. ...4
I like the way Cetaphil cleanses my skin. It does not smell perfumy or pepperminty, and does not take my breath away. It does not make my face itchy nor does it burn like some face cleansers. The manufacturer recommends either to wipe the cleanser off with a dry washcloth and leave a thin layer of Cetaphil on your face to moisturize it, or, to wash it off with water. I did not particularly care for the ""leaving a thin layer on my face."" It felt pretty sticky and then dry like a masque. I did like the way it washed off my face right away with water. I think a lot of people with skin sensitivity would like this product!

Great face cleanser5
I started using this around 10 years ago after reading about it in Paula Begoun's cosmetic review books. Every so often I try other cleaners, but always go back to Cetaphil. Once or twice a week, I mix it with baking soda for a mild exfoliant. This is a great basic mild cleanser and very reasonably priced.
