Best Diaper For Boys!5
As a mom of 5 Boys, I offer my experience with disposable diapers.

I imagine myself having to wear diapers all the time and look for the best fit which I feel equals the best comfort. I have found that a great fit PLUS often changes equals no or minimal leaks.

In order to achieve a great fit you need to start with the correct size. I have found that the numbers on the box mean nothing! YOur babies height and frame size really determine which size your baby needs. It is usually a lot of trial and error but I have always purchased the next size well before my babies were actually the weight stated on the packaging.

Sagging, that is, when the crotch hangs down makes for a very uncomfortable diaper. Huggies supremes have the elastic in the back of the diaper which tends to hold the diaper up better, but I have discovered that there is so much padding between the legs that this style simply does not work for boys.

The wide stretchy sides that pampers cruisers have make achieving a perfect fit very easy! Although, sometimes I have to roll the back of the diaper back a bit to get that perfect fit. If pampers had a little bit of elastic in the back, they woudl be perfect! Also, the padding inside is trimmer in the crotch area making it not as bulky.

I also love the new woven liner. It is very soft. I don't know if it serves any other purpose but I feel better putting someithing soft and somewhat airy on my little baby.

I have tried Pampers Baby Dry, Huggies Baby Shaped and Supreme, Luvs, Walmart's Brand, and CVS premium. I am all about saving money where I can but I also want baby to be comfortable.

I have found all disposable diapers to be pretty much the same and no matter what brand you use, they all serve their purpose. With all the different types I have tried, I have never disliked any one enough to not use the entire pack. In fact, if I go to purchase diapers and there is an irrestible sale on another brand, I will purchase them and only buy a small pack of cruisers. I mix them up in our changing area and end up using both types. Sometimes I have three and four varieties mixed in there.

I do have to admit, the Pampers Cruisers are my first choice and always the ones I am reaching for first. I like the way they smell and especially the way they fit, even more now that Luca is up and Cruising around. They are the only ones I have found to not sag and shift with our toddler's many busy antics and movements.

Hope this helps!

Once Great, Now Crapola Pampers Cruisers1
We are a family 3 years into our use of Pampers (multiple boys) and have always been huge fans. Cruisers (historically) almost never leak and diaper rash has rarely been an issue. I've never blinked at the higher price because I felt it was well worth having dry happy babies, both day and night. But sometime this summer, Pampers made the executive decision to vastly reduce the quality of the Cruisers (they reduced the absorbency and removed the keep-dry liner which ironically is still described in the current product description) without notifying customers or changing the packaging. This seems like a horribly unethical thing to do. I'm surprised there aren't more negative comments here in response to the lowered quality of the product (check out the other major online outlet for diapers if you want to see pages of angry customers). Personally after spending (literally) thousands of dollars with Pampers over the years I'm shocked by the silent switch in product.

Rumor has it that the "old" Cruisers are now being rebranded as Cruisers Premium and are only available at Target (presumably this is some test marketing scheme). Unfortunately as Target doesn't exist in VT and I'm loathe to pay the huge shipping fees from Target.com I cannot confirm that these new Cruisers Premium are in fact the same as our old beloved Cruisers. We've switched to Huggies which seem prone to leaks and seem to have a sharper urine smell to them, even when relatively fresh. But there doesn't seem to be any alternatives (although I am open to suggestion is anybody has any good ones to share!).

But I'm really disgusted by the way Pampers has squandered their customer loyalty. If they wanted to pump up profit margins, I would have preferred that they simply raised the prices which would have been more honest and respectful.

Excuse me, I have to go change my baby who has apparently leaked through his Huggies while I've been writing this review. Bah....

New Cruiser without mesh-lining LEAK!1
I have been a pampers customer since my son was born 20 months ago. I loved their OLD cruisers diapers. I can NOT say the same for there newly changed cruisers. First, I would like to say that I didn't appreciate them changing the diapers and not letting their consumers know. They could have even lied and put "new and improved mesh free lining" on the box. Secondly, it was very sneaky, to say the very least, that they made this change to the new lining during the holiday season when their customers might be to busy to notice. Well, i noticed as did my friends and family. Repeatedly my friends and family had to change their clothes because my sons pee leaked through onto their clothing while they were holding him. Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like being peed on. Not only that, but my sons diaper doesn't make it through the night anymore, it leaks all over him, his crib and his pj's. Thirdly, I am disappointed that pampers did not pass on the saving to us. I already spend $40 per box of pampers, if you are going to spend less money on making them then pass the savings on to your customers as well, even if I only spend .02 less a diaper.

I called customer service they were very nice but informed me this was a "permanent" change. They are sending me 4 $10 off coupons I guess to encourage me to keep buying their diapers after their shafty and questionable behavior. I am changing brands to a non P&G brand, which brand, i don't know yet. Buyers BEWARE!
