Customer Reviews

good but could be great4
ok so I bought these for $27.90 so there is really nothing to complain about, because regularly these things go for $70. However; the thong part of the flip flop is to high for my foot, the sole fits my foot. but since you can't adjust the thong part, only the strap, they look a bit funny on my feet. I think Chaco should make them a bit tighter, because the flip itself is so heavy that if you do not wear it tight it will be virtually impossible to walk in except maybe around your house. I have heard of others having the same issue, but like I said for $28 bucks I can't complain to much still a well mad product, but could have been designed a bit different.

Like being barefoot with arch support5
This is the fourth pair of Chacos I've had. I LOVE these things. I'm very hard on shoes, but Chaco stands up to the abuse I give them. These are the first pair of hipthongs I've bought and I'm just as impressed with these as I've been with my zongs. They stay on your feet a lot better than flip flops and the arch support is the best I've ever encountered in a shoe. All my other shoes have orthodics in them, but these sandals are more comfortable than some of my orthodics boosted shoes. If you're looking for a pair of sandals to last a lifetime, GET THESE.

Best arch support in a sandel yet!5
This is my 1st Chaco sandal I've tried. I have been a TEVA fan for a long time, but the Chaco's have a great arch support. I was looking at the $95 Chaco's, but decided on the "HipThong" as it was less pricey. I was concerned about them not having a heel strap and they would fall off like other thong style sandals, but indeed they remain put! I clean in-ground swimming pools here in New Orleans for a living and tennis shoes are a nightmare! I come home wanting to amputate my feet after 8 hours of WET tennis shoes! ö ...and the next morning, shoes are still wet. Now with my Chaco's and SunBlock SPF 70 I can put a full days work in with no pain or strain :) (except for it being 90+ degrees all day long) I will say they are a tad heavy, but nothing like WET shoes and socks! By far the most comfortable sandal I've worn. I will try other Chaco styles by visiting a local Chaco retailer on Magazine St. Men's size 11 is spot on!
