The Getagrip rubber outsole sticks to a variety of terrain while flexing to encourage a natural stride, and Chaco wrapped the toe and heel with a rubber rand for extra durability.

High quality
I'm very impressed with the quality of these Chaco hiking shoes. I received them a week ago and have been wearing them everyday. They are extremely comfortable and offer excellent arch support. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I usually wear based on other reviews and they fit perfect. They are listed as a "multisport shoe", but potential buyers should understand that they are not a tennis or running shoe. They have harder, stiffer soles for hiking and walking.

Another great shoe from Chaco!
I have several pairs of Chaco shoes - hiking boots, sandals, light hikers - so I wasn't too afraid to give these shoes a try. I wear them delivering the mail so they get plenty of use. I like that they are waterproof and the arch support is second to none.

It took a few days to really wear them in, but since then they've been great. I'm thinking of getting another pair!
