Failed after 6 Weeks1
Looks good, wound watches OK for 6 weeks. Then, one half went out: no warning, no cause. Just stopped turning. I'm not bad at fixing stuff so decided to take it apart to find the problem. Cannot take it apart. Cabinet is glued together, no way to get at insides without destroying the cabinet. Another indication of very cheap engineering. Guess I should have gone after a more expensive unit.

THE BEST 4-PORT WINDER FOR THE $ DOLLAR4
DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR this is the best 4-port winder to buy ! The four timing options are the best for a winder. You have (a) auto rotate 33 seconds rest 12 minutes. (b) auto rotate 10 minutes rest 90 minutes . (c) auto rotate 30 minutes rest 3 hours . (d) auto rotate 1 hour rest 3 hours . And you have (1) rotation for clockwise . (2) rotation for auto mode. (3) rotation for counter clockwise. THE MOTOR IS VERY,VERY,VERY QUIET with the lid closed you can not hear the motor at all ! The out side finsh is very good I give it (9) on a scale of 1- to - 10 with ten being the best! The only thing wrong is the lower drawer the dividers are not attached and held in place by the pillows other than that this is a VERY,VERY GOOD winder for the dollar "MONEY" $149.95 ! MY TOTAL COST WAS $169.30 THAT'S SHIPPING & HANDLING , TAXES , ECT ! THE WINDER WAS AT MY DOOR TWO BUSINESS DAYS LATER !I bought this winder for two rolex & two breitling watches . ( THE BEST WINDER SETTINGS ) First pre wind your automatic watches! Use the (A) auto rotate 33 seconds ,rest 12 minutes . And use (3rd) setting rotation for counter clockwise. This is the best setting !I also have a steinhausen winder 2-port winder for one rolex & one omega watches I never had a problem with this settings ! this is the best setting for your nice watches and winders both will last a lot longer on this setting and for the doller "MONEY" THIS IS A BETTER WINDER THAN THE STEINHAUSEN WINDER I WILL BUY THIS WINDER AGAIN ! UPDATE AUG/21/2008 I BOUGHT ONE MORE WINDER THIS IS THE BEST FOR THE PRICE!!!!!!!!

Very good value for the price5
I was looking for a reasonably priced 4-pot winder for my collection of automatic watches. I wanted it to look nice and work well, but was not looking for patek phillipe build quality or price. I got it with this winder. The 4 timing options are nice, and auto mode alternates between clock and anti-clock wise rotations, which is important. The motor is rather quiet, and you can barely hear it with the top open while standing next to it. From across the room with the lid closed, you can not hear it at all, which is important in a bedroom. My only gripe is the lower drawer for manual watches, the dividers are not attached to the box and held in place by the pillows, so when you remove a pillow to take out a watch the dividers fall, and they are not finished on all sides and look like crap.
But other than that, I think its a very good winder. If it lasts a few years then its a great deal.
