My five year old loves setting up and playing with her Calico Critters Playground. She especially loves the apples and the balloon that attaches to any other building. She has attached it to her playhouse which is not Calico Critters. The apples are very small so be careful with young children. This is a creative toy for girls between 4 and 1/2 and 6 and 1/2.

We love the baby play park and it's other accessories in this line. Granted they tend be expensive but they appeal to both of our children ages 2 and 6. For them to play cooperatively is priceless.

Cute toy my girls love it
I bought the Calico Critter Baby Play Park and the Calico Critters Windmill for my girls for Christmas. They perfer the Play Park over the Windmill (and the Play Park is cheaper.) The two sets "connect" so that the critters can ride a hot air balloon between the Windmill and Play Park. This feature doesn't work very well and kept collapsing. If I had to choose between the two sets I would buy the Play Park not the Windmill.
The Play Park is really cute and has a slide, hot air balloon ride, and rocking basket for babies. My girls really loved the flowered tiara one of the baby twins came with, but there was only one (which led to fights). Not fun.
