Regardless of size, every speaker in the series is represented by the capital C as in Concert. Even though it is small, the C 803 is designed big. It has been built using Jamo's unique convex tapered vent, which reduces unwanted port turbulence and almost eliminates port noise. The speakers in the C 80 series share a number of attributes. They all feature tweeters with DTT and WaveGuide, and woofers and midrange units using Hard Conical Cone and Centre-Plug technology. Furthermore they all come with an Active Impedance Correction system, which neutralizes the magnetic field around the pole piece, reducing distortion by up to 50%. All front speakers in the C 80 series feature bi-wiring allowing you to fine tune the sound in perfect harmony with your room. The Jamo Story

It's 1966. In the fishing village of Glyngore, Denmark, carpenter Preben Jacobsen begins building loudspeakers in his henhouse. Though blessed with great woodworking skills and broad knowledge of acoustic technology, Preben soon comes to realize that selling the remarkable speakers he's built is not his strength. In 1968, he brings his brother-in-law Julius Mortensen - an experienced salesman and exporter - into the mix, and Jamo is born.
