Really Fun!!!!
This game is super fun! I played it for like 4 hours and I still didn't beat the game... So it's not like a 5, 10 minute game. It's kinda hard at some levels/chapters. (the ones that are farther in the game) In the game, you collect power cards and every time you collect 3 you get a new move! For Gloria the moves are (that you need power cards for):
Butt bounce
Hip cheak
The moves for Alex are:
Double Jump
Claws
The moves for Marty are:
Kick
Sneak
Slide
Long Jump
The moves for Melman are:
Helicopter/glide
Head Bash
Those are all of the moves you need power cards to unlock. Power cards are easy to collect. You can be the penguins, too. But they need no power cards. There are 11 chapters you need to complete to finish the game. If you play and beat all of the chapters, you win! The chapters are (in order):
King of New York
Marty's Escape
New York Street Chase
Penguin Muntiny
Mysterious Jungle
Save the Lemurs
Jungle Banquet(I'm on this one)
Coming of Age
Back to the Beach
Marty to the Rescue
Finel Battle
They take forever to finish, believe me. I never lie. Sometimes you want to play something that has to do with Madagascar, but you don't feel like finishing a chapter. That's where minigames come in! You have to buy them at "Zooveners" bet thier not expensive at all! The mini games are:
Tiki Mini-Golf
Shuffleboard
Lemur Rave
I'm NOT going to explain the games cause I have to leave for my softball (I'm a girl) game soon and you have to buy the game. I think I've explained enough. Hope I helped!
A game to play again and again.
My son is addicted to this game, he absolutely loves it. He enjoys playing all the different characters who have different tricks. This is one of his favorite of the many games he has.
Fun and not too hard...
I never saw the Madagascar movie. You don't really need to to enjoy this game. Some players find it too easy. This doesn't take away from the fun of it for me. It's still a nice cartoon adventure. The scenery is fun. That's important to me. The game play is pretty smooth. There are a lot of fun things to find. It's like a lot of mini games linked together to make up a story. Each of the animal characters have their own special abilities. In each level there is a central area where you can change characters. So if you want to you can change tasks/missions any time you want to. The lands are cool. There are caves, big trees and mountains to climb. The mini game extras are nice too. There's Shuffleboard, the Tiki Mini-Golf is especially fun and interesting. Both are 2 player games, not split screen. Also you can re-visit any land any time you want to... as long as you have unlocked it. An Action Replay cheat disc makes any game better but isn't absolutely necessary. A Walkthrough is always a good idea with any game in my opinion.
