WARNING! This is the sequel, NOT the original!
I didn't want to downgrade a game just because of Amazon's mislabeling. Anyone ordering this game should know that its 'God of War 2', not the original. Of course the '2 Disc Set' kinda overlapped the other 2 in a sense, but it still should be noted.

Get the original as well, as it serves as a nice background for this game.

***UPDATE***: It seems Amazon finally corrected the title by removing the '2-Disc Set' thing and thus avoiding confusion by consumers. Kudos to you, Amazon!

awesome must buy
I got the collector edition and I recommend buying the collectors ed for this game. It is an epic game full of gore and blood.

Simply Awesome
This game is simply just astounding. The story, graphics, and appeal is just stellar. This game is challenging and very rewarding. Took me about 20 hours to beat first time. It also has decent amount of replay value. I have played a lot of video games and this is the best single-player, action game I have played in a long time. It isn't for kids (see Mature rating). You can buy this game for really cheap now since it's kinda old, but it is worth every penny of it. Very memorable. If you have a PS2, buy this game!
