Third time is the charm
After a couple of dull PS2 iterations, spyro 3rd time is well polished. They have taken their time to get the game right. It is not going to break any new grounds, but it is a fun game. It is very straight forward, fit for all ages. The gameplay is very simple old school platformer. With all the big 08 holiday releases this one went under the radar. Pick it up you wont regret it. Good addition to you Wii library.
Disappointment
I've played Spyro games from the beginning and have always loved them. I was excited to try this for the Wii, but after an hour of game play I finally just gave up. The controls are not at all intuitive, and instead of exploring and solving puzzles I am just fighting enemy after enemy. I love my Wii, and I do love Spyro, but this might not be the best combination.
Spyro
the game is fun but a bit buggy. It is really cool to be able to play two players when ever you need to! However we found that a few areas are difficult to coordinate and maneuver without having the computer play one to the characters.
