![]() | The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Buy new: $46.99 / Used from: $26.00 A bit repetative when compared to previous games, however it is probably the best, most defining example of what a Zelda game should be. Clever dungeons/puzzles and a vast overworld filled with secrets to discover.
![]() | Metroid Prime Trilogy Collector's Edition
Buy new: $46.99 / Used from: $37.56 All three Prime games on one amazing bundle package complete with unlockables, fold-out artwork/story pamphlet and an awesome instruction manual. Three shining games for the price of one, can't be beat!

![]() | Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Buy new: $77.98 / Used from: $11.00 Better than Echoes, almost as good as Prime, Corruption takes Samus on a whirlwind tour through the galaxy to stop Phazon. With the new Wii remote as your gun-arm, be prepared for another awesome ride through the Metroid universe!
![]() | Tales of Symphonia
Buy new: $117.98 / Used from: $15.00 Despite some cheesy story points and voice acting, this is a solid RPG that is both deep in gameplay and expansive in the amount of things you can do and effect. A good purchase for a system that sorely lacks games in this genre. A must have.
![]() | Skies of Arcadia : Legends
Buy new: $108.74 / Used from: $19.13 The definitive version of the game. The storyline, while cliche, is what drives the story forward, but the characters is what keeps it grounded. You'll love coming back to the skies of Arcadia to fly with Vyse and crew on the hunt for that next elusive discovery!
![]() | Metroid Prime
Buy new: $49.98 / Used from: $2.00 The original game that started it all for Metroid becoming a first person shooter. It pioneered many new gameplay features that reverberate into Echoes and Corruption. Come play and experience the original and quite possibly, the best.
![]() | Beyond Good and Evil
Buy new: $76.97 / Used from: $5.84 Be it either for the Gamecube, Playstation or PC, this overlooked gem is a true treasure. Great setting, plot, characters and gameplay. There is never a dull moment in this brilliant game. Truly inspired and fresh, you owe it to yourself to try this game.
![]() | Tales Of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Buy new: $27.49 / Used from: $19.79 The direct sequel to Tales of Symphonia. It has far less flair than the original did, but improves on its battle system and adds a system of monster-taming where you can add up to 200+ monsters to your party to fight alongside you. This interesting and addicting dynamic makes it worth the play.
![]() | Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker
Buy new: $99.74 / Used from: $13.48 Despite the short length of the game, this is a beautiful rendition of Zelda where it truly is like playing a living, breathing cartoon. The vast amount of ocean, islands and treasure you can explore and acquire is astounding. Only wished the second quest offered more than what it did, but this is a solid entry into the Zelda franchise and not one to be missed.
![]() | Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Buy new: $78.80 / Used from: $5.75 The least inspired of the series, this is by no means a bad game. Quite the contrary, this installment simply tried too many new things with the series much too soon. Despite some gameplay issues and gripes, there is solid Metroid here with some amazing boss designs and area concepts. Still worth playing. It is also the hardest and unforgiving of the three.
![]() | Rune Factory: Frontier
Buy new: $27.99 / Used from: $24.99 Taking the proven formula of Harvest Moon and taking it further by leaps and bounds by adding fighting, dungeons-crawling, monster taming and many other new innovative ideas. This game is a welcome breath of fresh air in the farming simulation genre and you could easily spend 100+ hours playing it.
![]() | Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon
Buy new: $39.99 / Used from: $12.98 Although simple in design and a bit repetative in the dungeons, the overflow of side quests, things to do, mini-games to play and job class decisions outweigh the bad. A relatively quick, fun romp through Chocobo's world. Highly recommended for casual RPG fans.
![]() | Super Smash Bros Melee
Buy new: $44.75 / Used from: $6.27 The game that made Smash Bros. popular, woe to the N64 version. With more features than its predecessor, it set the stage for what would be the biggest sequel in Nintendo's history: Brawl. With super-fast action and a wide selection of characters, there is a lot to like in this game. Although the difficulty is brutal in Events and Single.
![]() | Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Original Black Label) Not Players Choice or Best Seller Covers
Buy used from: $14.19 Most undoubtably the best installment in the Paper Mario series. It takes everything good from the original and simply makes it better! With far more things to do and locals to explore, this is by far the best Mario RPG to date.
![]() | The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition
Buy new: $112.99 / Used from: $29.99 If you can get your hands on this bad boy, DO IT! This not only has the original two Zelda games from the original NES. But also the two N64 games, which are heralded by many to be the best in the series! Truly a great disc to have in your collection with literally hours of gameplay between its covers. Do yourself a favor and seek this one out!
![]() | Klonoa
Buy new: $27.99 / Used from: $10.67 A shining gem in a sea of mediocrity, the vibrant, colorful palette and easy 'pick-up-and-play' difficulty of the game make it appealing to all ages. Its platforming goodness at its finest!
![]() | Mega Man X Command Mission
Buy new: $19.98 / Used from: $6.89 A unique foray for Megaman, this realm of RPGs. Story-wise, there isn't anything to write home about. What surprised me most was the innovative way they made Megaman into an RPG and the fun battlesystem they devised for it. This game is very challenging and fun for all megaman freaks out there. Well worth the purchase.
![]() | Mega Man X Collection
Buy new: $111.53 / Used from: $27.99 A bit uneven with Megaman X 5 and 6, the rest is all solid gold. A good collection of all the best games from the X series plus an added bonus of a Megaman racing game that you can unlock! Megaman X 1-4 is pure brilliance in my book.
![]() | Mega Man Anniversary Collection
Buy new: $39.98 / Used from: $11.99 Despite the horrible arrangement of the fire and jump buttons for the Gamecube version, this game has the original Megaman 1-8 on one disc plus some extra games to boot. Relive the challenge, history and fun that is Megaman in this all-in-one wonder disc!
![]() | Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Buy new: $101.94 / Used from: $31.99 A worthy entry in the strategy based RPG series: Fire Emblem. The graphics are a bit dated but they do the job well. Strategy is slightly different compared to previous titles in the franchise where you most likely will have to 'baby' a few units, making the difficulty extremely hard. However the story is engaging and deep.
![]() | Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel
Buy new: $44.99 / Used from: $34.99 Having not played a Mario Kart game since the SNES days, I'm relieved to find that this carries on the great tradition of awesome tracks with awesome power-sliding! With a few clunkers here and there, most track designs are inspired and very fun. Kudos to the vast amount of racers, vehicles and classic levels brought back for this installment.
![]() | Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility
Buy new: $49.99 / Used from: $35.99 Another shining entry in the Harvest Moon franchise. For a new installment, its actually fairly tame and does not take many risks or chances with the proven formula. Regardless of that and horrid loading times, the game still pleases the audience where it matters the most!
![]() | Super Paper Mario
Buy new: $46.99 / Used from: $25.99 Probably the least of the three Paper Mario games, it is by no means an un-fun game. Its actually quite addicting with its RPG elements meshed with the platforming classiness of old-school Mario games. Its only drawback is giving the player way too much to do (sidequests, etc.) far too late in the game.
![]() | Harvest Moon Magical Melody
Buy new: $21.99 / Used from: $10.35 Although a rare game these days, still go pick it up if you're into farming simulations. It is bar none, THE BEST, game in the Harvest Moon franchise. It takes all the additions of past installments and improves them, taking out everything that was annoying and making farming fun again.
![]() | The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Buy new: $98.94 / Used from: $17.00 Harkening back to the 2d era of Zelda gaming yet enhancing it with 3d conventions with graphics; Four Swords Adventures gives us the best of 2d Zelda gaming with clever puzzles and great battles. With a couple friends, the fun is even greater. A very unique game for a very unique Zelda crowd, try it out today.
![]() | Mega Man Network Transmission
Buy new: $29.99 / Used from: $3.91 Hard to find in stores nowadays, but is a worthy purchase none-the-less. It incorporates RPG elements into a 2d platforming aspect of Megaman. With literally over 200 different weapon attacks/shields/techniques to choose from and a solid difficulty and wonderful history tributes of past megamans, this is truly a game to play.
![]() | Zack & Wiki Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure
Buy new: $67.94 / Used from: $11.45 A very underrated gem that many are missing out on. It uses the Wii-remote in new and innovative ways to solve puzzles utilizing its point and click interface. There are a few control issues and a few bad puzzle designs, but overall doesn't detract from a enjoyable experience.
![]() | Sonic Heroes
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $4.59 Probably the only 3d Sonic in existence that's actually any good, or any fun. With blazing fast speed and quick team change-ups, this all adds up to a fun Sonic experience. With the exception of a few play-control issues and a very hard difficulty curve near the end, this game is quite fun and probably closer to the original Sonics than previous or current attempts. Recommended you try.
![]() | Super Mario Sunshine
Buy new: $95.05 / Used from: $11.44 Despite it being a weak entry in the Mario franchise, I would be lying if I didn't say its still a fun game. The difficulty curve is steep, but the levels are interesting and fun. The annoyance comes in when going for 100%, forgetting that, the rest of the game is quite cruising and recommended for any Mario fan.
![]() | Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Buy new: $11.50 / Used from: $2.00 An experiment by Square-Enix that turned off some but enthralled others. Its a quirky title that reminds some of Secret of Mana but with a few more options, but far less story. The focus is mainly on the battles and exploration, but does not overly detract from the final product. Great fun and a good 'leisure' game. (if you will)
![]() | Star Fox Adventures
Buy new: $74.89 / Used from: $3.19 Despite harsh criticisms from gamers and critics alike, if you can get past the fact that it stars Fox McCloud and take it for what it is: An adventure game, it'll end up much better. Solid gameplay and a fun, goofy world to explore. A bit on the easy side, but a nice change of pace from traditional adventure games.
![]() | Baten Kaitos
Buy new: $78.99 / Used from: $7.19 Ignoring the initial slow-paced beginning and the bad voice acting; lying underneath this seemingly generic RPG lies a story that is terrific! The battle system alone is unique and revolutionary, however the learning curve to master it is steep. A very long, extended RPG for a system in dire need of them.
![]() | Lost Kingdoms II
Buy new: $99.93 / Used from: $9.50 The sequel, in this case, is superior to the original. Eliminating all that was bad from the original and bringing in far more good elements, this installment is the one to probably get. Although both games are good in their own right, this one has far more cards, more options, more fun.
![]() | Lost Kingdoms
Buy new: $89.88 / Used from: $6.98 A truly innovative game that brings aspects of Magic: The Gathering to a game-based format. With over a 100 monster cards to choose from to battle your foes, this is a uniquely refreshing game. Only downside? Inability to return to past stages until after you've beaten the game, lending itself a very brutal difficulty curve. Fun regardless in collecting all the cards.
