1080p next gen gaming and blu-ray disc playability are the key features that make the PS3 a can't miss purchase. Sure the 360 has some exclusives that are solid, but in 2009 the PS3 has the best lineup.

Easily upgraded and cheap memory is something that PS3 unarguably has over 360. This 2.5 SATA is almost half the price of 360's 120GB HDD with 240 more GB of space. No excuse for this, MS.

You can use any blutooth headset you own to chat on PSN with other gamers. Definitely a step up from the unsightly and tinny sounding 360 earpiece.

This is the same price as an 80GB PS3, and the only 360 that supports HDMI or 1080p, so unless you consider the Lego Indy and Kung Fu Panda games as more of an asset than blu-ray compatibility, wi-fi, internet browsing, etc...

You'll need this to go live using wi-fi. Just a tad bit expensive for an accessory that does something the PS3 includes by default, don't you think?

If you are wondering what all the HD fuss is about, watch any of these three movies in blu-ray on a decent 1080p HDTV calibrated correctly. It will blow your mind.

The killer app everyone expected, this game is one of the best shooters out there, and the graphics surpass even those of Gears of War 2. Finally, the PS3 is showcasing the superiority of its hardware.

Another great exclusive, it is akin to playing an Indy movie, minus all the Nazis.

The first "killer app" released for PS3, Resistance is very well regarded as a shooter, but failed to carry the $600 on it's back alone in the early days.

A great game geared toward children, R&C has nice graphics and the gameplay is satisfying enough for any hardcore gamers.

One of the first PS3 exclusives that caught my eye, Folklore is a pretty good action rpg, with great visuals, a compelling story, and fresh gameplay.

The first Bioshock was shipped over a year after the 360/PC release for the PS3; this time both consoles will have their copy on day one. In my opinion, this shows that devs are figuring out how to efficiently program for the PS3 cell hardware, and thus can produce games for 360 and PS3 in the same timeframe, at the same level of quality.

Sony lost exclusivity of the FF numerical francise with XI (nobody cared about that one anyway). They couldn't hold on to this one either, and this would have been a game Square fanboys would have had to buy a PS3 for.... at least they still got dibs on Versus.

One of the best experiences I had on the 360, this version has a new difficulty level and DLC for the PS3. Now if only Sony could get a port of Mass Effect....

This game is excellent. From the gameplay, graphics, story, partner AI, it all delivers. Without a doubt, it does the PoP series proud.

GOTY 2007, this game slaughters the online FPS competition. The multiplayer ranking and perks system had me playing into many mornings.
