Amazon.com Product Description
The high-capacity, 1800 mAH Rayovac NM714-2 Rechargeable NiMH C Batteries last up to three times longer in digital cameras than standard alkaline, and can be recharged up to 500 times. That means more shots on a single set of batteries, not to mention thousands of dollars in savings on batteries for your high-drain digital still camera. Plus, with Rayovac NiMH batteries, there are no "memory" problems -- recharge your Rayovac batteries any time, even if they are only partially drained.

- Always charge NiMH batteries before first use
- For maximum performance, charge batteries prior to using if stored for more than one month

- NiMH batteries can be disposed of with regular trash -- NiMH is safe for the environment
Customer Reviews
An AA battery in a C shell
If you're wondering why these batteries die so quickly, I'll tell you a secret: they're just a AA batteries in C battery shells!
The 1800-mAH capacity of these batteries compares poorly with many AA batteries, which store up to 2500 mAH.
C batteries should be able to store at least 5000 mAH. Check the fine print before you buy.
Warning: only 1800 mAh
The typical rechargeable C cell has 5000 to 6000 mAh of capacity. A tiny AA battery usually has 2500 mAh +/-. This battery has 1800 mAh.
Don't hold charge long
These batteries are fine if you're not putting them in something that needs to be charged for a period of time. However, they don't hold their charge for very long, just a few days, and they have to be charged or changed often. They're okay, but there is better.
