After filling the 6-1/2-inch tube with your dough, simply attach the desired disc. Create a cookie with one push of the lever. With 20 different discs you can create anything from basic round biscuits to eye-catching, geometric treats. The star and tree discs are sure to be favorites during the holiday season. Choose from four pastry nozzles for custom decorating cookies, cakes, and finger foods. Use them for filling hors d'oeuvres or piping mashed potatoes onto entrees. Included with the set is a bonus cooling rack that measures 10-1/2 by 14 inches. This Pike Street set should be washed by hand.

Not quite what I expected2
I bought this when it was on special for $9.99 and not sure if it was worth it. The cookie sheet was very thin and bendable. The press itself looks like it would hold up to quite a bit of useage, but the manual needs more updating.

- There is a pivoting setting (1, 2, and a tab) that appears to control the amount the lever moves; though the manual mentions nothing about this.

- The vertical shaft is notched, with a spring-loaded catch to prevent it from moving back up. When fully loaded, there is a springback effect with the lever (it moves back up due to too much pressure). I found I need to press on the lever as well as the vertical shaft in order to get cookies out of the small dies.

- The spring-loaded catch sometimes sticks and does not re-engage.

- No openings at the feet to determine how much dough has come out.

I would not recommend this product. Instead, I would recommend the style my mom uses. It has a twist-dial to advance the plunger, and there were openings in the feet so you can tell when just the right amount of dough came out so you retain the roundness of the shape (not so it's flat).

Frustrating to use1
Bought for 10 bucks.

The press is functional, but it is difficult to use and produces a lot of waste. The notched lever is very finicky and frequently comes out of place. The spring on the press works sometimes and not others.

The cookie sheet is useless -- it peeled on the first use.

I did attempt two batches. Not a quality product & far below expectations -- it should be returned or goodwilled.

UPDATE: I returned the item and was assessed a 2 dollar restocking fee. Ironically, that's about what this product is worth.

Not worth it!1
I bought this item for 9.99. the cookie sheet is very thin and bends easily. haven't had problems with it peeling yet, but I can see it coming on the back of the sheet.

the cookie press is ok. I've never owned one, but I thought it was suppose to make baking cookies easier. like the previous reviews, dough gets caught in there making the whole process longer than it should be. it took me a little bit to figure the thing out, there were no instructions for the baking handicap.

one of the plastic pieces for decorating broke on the first try. they are cheaply made!
Overall, I was dissappointed in the item, very cheaply made. Don't waste your money, instead apply it to something that's worth a bit more, but works and lasts.
