Installation can be easy5
You don't need to solder any wire, it's not worth the hassle unless you already have a fine tip soldering iron.

1) Cut the wire of the original battery and leave the solder in place.
2) Connect the wires of the new battery to the old wire
3) Insulate the wires from touching each other with a piece of clear box tape
4) Straighten the bended metal clips in the inside of the back casing
5) Lay the wires flat on the motherboard and close the case

Excellent buy to revive your old iPod Nano5
My first generation iPod Nano was over three years old when I bought this battery. Now I can listen to the iPod all day instead of under two hours with the worn-out original battery.

Another reviewer gave a low rating because of the difficulty of soldering. That's not a fair review of the product because there's no other way to replace the battery in the Nano. You can get a soldering pencil for under ten bucks and it will include the necessary solder. After removing the old battery with the soldering pencil, just make sure the holes for the wiring are clear. Insert all three leads of the new battery and tape the back side with office tape to keep everything in place. Now you can solder all three pads with ease. Clip off any protruding bare wire with nail clippers.
