Filter failed after 2 weeks
I purchased this filter from a discount filter store on-line. It worked fine for about two weeks and then clogged. I was about to call for repairs on the refrigerator, but instead I replaced it with the genuine GE product and so far no troubles with the GE filter.

Fake Filter
This is a filter is a fake! While the description claims it fits my model refrigerator it does not. The threads are completely different so it will not even screw in.

Caveat emptor. This is an aftermarket filter, not a GE replacement. My bad, I realize; I should have read more carefully. However, the photo displayed is of the GE filter, not what is being sold. I can't vouch for the product quality either pro or con. I am rating this 1 star because of the deceptive photograph.
