Quality toy & very educational
This is a great toy that is very educational for kids. My daughter enjoyed watching the caterpillars become butterflies & loves having them in her room! I would highly recommend this to anyone with young children & teachers.

Butterfly garden for children

was just perfect. Along with the garden we ordered a book about insects
and butterflys to encourage curiousity and a learning adventure. I was happy with the intrest and excitement along each step of the butterfly
lifespan until the moment of release. My child was eager to learn all he could and take care of these little creatures who did some amazing things along the way. He would ask questions-such as why did the cocoon just wiggle and instead of us finding the answers he would go to the internet and look them up or search his book. The butterflys were beautiful. For a heads up when they mature you will need a orange or source of food unless it is warm enough in your area to release. They will not survive in cold climates. Shipping was great and it is a easy to store kit that you can either pass along for others to enjoy or keep for future bug findings.

A must for every child.
I highly recommend this kit! This is an good educational project that kids love. My older kids did this when they were young, so I bought this for my youngest daughter to experience this. Be aware that your kit won't come with live butterflies in it. You get a certificate inside to send away to order them. I remember sending in money to order the butterflies with the certificate. So if you are getting this as a gift, remember that the child won't get butterflies immediately and you should throw in some cash to purchase the butterflies. Check inside the box so you can see how much they are going to cost. It's not that much more for the butterflies. It's worth it. Make sure you also tell them to keep and read the informational pamphlet included. I think the pamphlet came with the butterflies, but it is very important to read. The book is an added bonus, so I got this particular habitat because of it. Just be aware that when you send your certificate in for your butterflies, you will not be getting MONARCH butterflies for your kit.
