Great trail shoe, good for road running too
This is a great trail shoe. Fits true to size. I've worn them for several 20+ mile train runs, moderately technical, in Richmond, VA. I've also used them for a 12 hour trail race and they held up great.

Great rock protection shield on the outsole. They breathe very well (I trained a lot in the summer heat). Water will go through the mesh pretty easily, so I wouldn't go puddle hopping. But my experience was they dry quickly as well. If you run in wet conditions a lot, and like dry feet, you'll want to go with a goretex shoe.

I've also worn them for 5-10 mile road runs, and 10 mile road/trail combo runs. They work fine on the road for up to 10 miles, but I probably wouldn't go much farther.

The best shoes I have ever owned
It was suggested by a retailer that at my size, 6ft. 2inches and 210 pounds that I try these shoes. I bought them and never looked backward. I use them for work, hiking running and general daily use. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I tend to supinate and they are designed for that action. I now have two pairs and the supplier via Amazon was very quick, reasonably priced and totally reliable.
