not so good taste
I've been drinking the Slim Fast High Protein Creamy chocolate drink for the past month and thought I'd try the other flavors for something different.

Well I'm going to cancel my subscription to the Vanilla. I suppose it does have a vanilla taste to it, but overall it's not to my liking. I rated it a 3 as I don't find it to be unpalatable. I will definitely finish the case that I have. But I just don't care for it.

In addition to the taste, it is pretty thick, and kind of gritty (just a little bit). While the creamy chocolate flavor is similarly thick and gritty, it tastes more like a milk shake (which is okay to be thick).

slimfast protein helps delay hunger more than any other similar products that I have tried. I have tried quite a few products too. It is better than the other slimfast drinks also.

Delicious
If you love Vanilla, this drink is great. To me it tastes like melted vanilla ice-cream. If you can get through the first few weeks of replacing meals with Slim-Fast its worth it. I lost 30 pounds within a period of 6 months and I have kept the weight off for a year so far. Like they say...there is no free lunch. I had to give up most of my lunches and breakfast...but I eat all the junk food I want at night and on the weekends.
