Customer Reviews

good figure, good Christian Bale likeness, cool collectible4
the "unmasked" figures have always puzzled me. why make an unmasked figure of a superhero who intentionally wears a mask to conceal his identity? the only time you'll ever see a superhero unmasked but still in costume is at home after a long night of crimefighting or on one of those rare occasions when a villain manages to unmask him. i'm just putting that out there for people to ponder.

anyways, this is a good figure. not the best toy to play with since there are fewer points of articulation than its 6" Movie Masters counterpart, and it doesn't come with a mask or an alternate uniform to change from Bruce Wayne to Batman and back. it's much better suited as a display piece. and since it's a chase figure and hence quantities of them are limited (which is why it is going for over twice its $29.99 retail price tag here on Amazon), it would probably be best left in its box as a collector's piece. it does come with a display stand if you really chose to remove it from its box and put it on your shelf or end table.

i just wish they'd make a 12" Joker figure in the future. sure, kids love superhero action figures, but wouldn't it be nice to have a supervillain figure to duke it out with the superhero during play? why do the villains always seem to be an afterthought when it comes to action figures?
