Customer Reviews
Convinient
Seems to work just fine - battery life is pretty good, and for the cost, you would be hard-pressed to get 4 good rechargeable AA batteries at the same cost (at the sale price that I paid for it) The only downfall is that the Wii has to be on standby(yellow not red powerlight) for the charger to work, as it is powered via one of the USB ports on the back of the Wii. For those that don't know Standby is done by pressing power on wii remotes for 2 secs (console will have yellow light) where as complete powerdown is done by pressing the console power button holding for 4 secs(turns red).Another issue is that if you use the protective silicone jacket on the Wii remote, it has to be pulled up and out of the way for the remote to fit in the charger. For under twenty I'm not complaining all that much.
Wii remote charger gets the job done.
The conection is a bit loose so it doesn't charge as well as it should but I do like the fact that the light turns red when the battier is low and the light turns blue when the remote is fully charged. It uses a usb plug so the only way to charge is either contected to your Wii when the power is on our your PC when it is powered on. there is no DC wall plug. Over all it gets the job done.
Not terrible
First off, as others have stated, this plugs in to the Wii's USB port, not an electric socket. Secondly, I was never able to get a completely full charge on this. The connectors were really finicky about how the remote was placed in the holder and if you didn't put it in PERFECTLY, you'd get a lousy charge. My advice is to spend the extra $10 and get a better charger.
