South Shore Platform
The item is just as portrayed. It arrived on time and was fairly easy to assemble according to my husband. The color was beautiful and it came with no damage. My disappointment was that our queen size mattress is too wide for it. I felt deceived by just having the 54" dimensions. I would have appreciated a simple description without needing to measure my matress such as full, queen or king size platform bed. Other than that it was okay.

Love This Stylish Bed Frame!
We purchased this item for my 15-year old. Frame is great looking! It was easy to put together, just be sure to follow the instructions slowly and cross reference the instructions with the diagram picture, especially the location of the dowel holes and the curviture of the molding. Platform frame only fits FULL size bed, in case you're wondering what 54" will cover. Wanted to use just the matress on the frame, but it was too low to the ground so we ended up using the box spring too. HINT: purchase an extra fitted sheet in a solid color that matches your comforter set and put the fitted sheet around your box spring. Looks way cool with this platform bed. Great "teen" look or modern apartment/loft idea.

Platform bed
The bed looks slightly different than photo because of the camera angle. When putting it together I had to drill new screw holes because the pre-drilled holes didn't match up. The platform part of the bed comes apart too easily so I wouldn't recommend moving the bed once you have it together.
