Old School in every way, the Adidas Stan Smith II is back in stock! The Adidas Stan Smith was introduced in 1965 as the first all leather tennis shoe (and not called the Stan Smith, but rather named for French tennis star Robert Haillet.) In the mid-1960's, an up and coming tennis phenomenon came to the attention of Adidas, and the shoes were renamed in 1971 after Stan Smith, a tennis legend in the making. Stan Smith won seven Davis Cup victories, 39 singles titles and 61 doubles crowns in his career. His shoe, the Stan Smiths, are one of Adidas best-selling shoes of all time with over 30 million pairs sold.

From the Manufacturer
adidas is a name that stands for excellence in all sectors of sport around the globe. The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has become a reality, and his corporate philosophy has been the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. Today, the adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel, and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.
Customer Reviews
My fiance loved them
I bought these tennis shoes for my fiance and he just loves them! He's even talking about buying the exact pair
Not the same shoes you remember
I suppose that it's inevitable, but I was hoping that the shoes would be the same as I remembered as a kid. They are not. To say the quality is inferior is being kind. The sizes run small as well (about a half size) and A*com will charge you shipping to return it.
Not a Stan Smith
I bought the shoe and they are ok but they are NOT Stan Smiths. Just a bland old no name shoe.
