The classical bulb-shaped fireplace features fine wire mesh screens and clear siding for a 360-degree view of the fire. Warm and bright, the outdoor fireplace offers a great centerpiece at a small party or barbecue.

Veranda crafted the fireplace with a heavy-duty steel base to support the weight and resist the heat from burning logs or charcoal briquettes. Designer embossing adorns the cast-iron bowl and top, creating an artisan touch for outdoor décor. A log grate is also provided to enhance safety while assisting with cleaning the fireplace. To add extra firewood, users access the fireplace's sliding door. The slender chimney includes a rain cup to keep water out during wet weather. GREAT LITTLE DITTY
If you are expecting a HUGE Chiminea, then move on. But if you want a medium sized one that is easy to assemble and good looking then this is the item for you. It took about 10 minutes to put together with two people (and I am not mechanically inclined) and it feels very solid, not flimsy or cheap. It is probably about 30 lbs. I used one half of a Duraflame (fake fire log) in this chiminea the first time I used it and I was glad I did. The burning area is kind of small and if I had used a full log I would have had an inferno! Even with the small log, the flames lept out of the unit a bit so keep it away from anything flammable. Maybe regular wood/sticks would work better I don't know, I have yet to try that.
Overall, I am happy with the item because it is a nice convenient size, works well and looks very nice.

Nice size
This chiminea is just the right size and a good value. Good quality workmanship.

Extremely difficult set up
Cute once its put together--but that's a real battle. Nothing fit together, pieces were wrong or missing. If you don't want a hassle as far as set up goes, buy another product.
