Instead of a baby bag bring a backpack instead. Get one that has side pouches that fit for water bottles or a baby bottle and pockets. A great time to pick up a backpack cheap is to wait until the after school starts sale. Backpacks are more durable than a baby bag and also can carry your thermos, cameras and etc.
