Customer Reviews

Everything I needed!5
I looked at about a million car seats when I was ready to move my daughter from her infant seat. It turned into a frustrating and confusing mess of features, prices, weight limits... ahh! After nearly driving myself crazy, I finally got this one, though in a different color. I actually bought it on sale at a local store (cut out shipping costs). I've been using it for about 3 months now and I love it! I had read about some people having problems with the cupholder and arm rests staying on, but I haven't had any problem with it. Getting it in the car was super easy. I use the LATCH system, and it snapped right in and stays really stable. However, I have also used the seat belt when we used it in my sister's car. That worked just fine, also. There are so many seats out there that cost a fortune, I think this one is a perfect compromise. It's more comfortable than some of the really cheap seats, but isn't gonna break the bank. And, most important of all, my little girl is comfortable, safe, and happy in it!

Not great for preschoolers2
I got this carseat when my daughter was 1 or 2 years old, and I liked it well enough - nice and padded. However, we live in NY and need to have her in a 5-point-harness until age 4. She is now 3 and with a bulky winter jacket, I can't fasten the upper latch on the 5-point harness. The strap adjusting mechanism is stationary, and it prevents me from being able to move the top latch down far enough. The top latch ends up practically in my daughter's face. DON'T buy this if you need to use it for a 3YO with a winter coat!

Misleading Size Allowance2
While pregnant, I bought this car seat. The box said that a baby could use this seat at 29". My son was 29" at six months. When I got it out of the box and read the pamphlet I saw that it also required the baby to be a year old first. So it's really not a 3 in one for tall babies. I ended up having to buy another seat for my son to use for the remaining months of his first year.
