A must-have - we have two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Great for dads and others to help out with feedings; allows children to enjoy holding the baby while the baby remains supported. Can be good for nursing in several positions. Be sure to have several slipcovers so that spilled milk and diaper containment issues don't leave you with an uncovered boppy!

A wonderful system that grows with your child, the Sleepi system creates a snug bassinet for your newborn, and later a comfortable crib for your toddler. Just keep adding sections and later you can adapt it to a junior bed! It's no wonder that you can never find these used -- people are still using them years after purchasing!

The worlds' best stroller -- Pricey, but worth it. Even more so if you're tall. Stable, solid, and stylish! Youtube Xplory videos - the one running longer than 10 minutes shows "higher is better." We often used the carseat adapter, rather than the bassinet. If you walk in your immediate neighborhood, the bassinet is perfect for 0-6m (also makes a great travel bed). Skip the diaper bag, tho.

Found this listed as a "best buy" from Consumer Reports, and it worked with my Xplory -- so it was a no-brainer choice that has worked well for us. This comes in a lot of colors, so make sure you get the one that works for you -- we ended up with a green and brown one which is fine, but not my favorite aesthetic choice.

If there is more than one car that your baby will be traveling in, go ahead and get one of these for each of those cars. They're cheap, and it's much easier to keep the thing installed in its primary car than it is to move the base from car to car. If you're wondering why I say this, you haven't tried to install an infant carseat yet. Get help. Seriously.

Makes early bathing of your newborn a lot easier. It's large, but fits in your bathtub or on your kitchen counter, depending on where it makes sense to do the bathing.
